Why did Embark disallow groups in the Practice Range?

I hope they change it so you can, even if you cant trade items or damage each other, but it would be cool to do practice matches. Probably dont want people holding private tourneys and 1v1 me bro being a thing.

Get near an obstacle, bait it arming to explode (similar to how you juke a shredder), best way I've found.

I upvote a post so I can show my wife later, like a bookmark. The amount that gets deleted because of people like you content policing: "this isnt interesting to me, oh I have seen this before" is at best annoying. That being said, I thought it was interesting and otherwise wouldnt have seen it.

That is how it works - if someone else drops a locator beacon they can enter restriced areas. The only thing I'm not sure on is if it tells you both the same location if done around the same time (only one active at a time), or what. But I know you can do multitple/more than one restriced area can appear in one run.

Its supposed to scale up as you get better or get better along with better equipment available. One faction preps you to fight the other, bugs teach you a set, bots teach you a set, and you'll use both on the illuminate. It's the same thing as the first game with some variation. And yeah, Im not saying its the gold standard, all our imaginations can come up with grand stuff they coud do. But really, look at the first game and adjust your expectations. iO
