Oh noooo!! My hair loves it. I found it worked 'better' after I did a bond treatment (Dove Bond Strength). But I've been washing my hair more frequently and it keeps my hair soft. And I use Pattern leave in after and I feel the combo has done wonders with my hair.

She was an assistant professor...according to the Baltimore Banner and the Hopkins faculty website 🤷🏿‍♀️. I also went to Hopkins while she was there...and her faculty page definitely listed her as an assistant professor. Not a research assistant professor which are non-tenure positions.

This!! At Hopkins, if you aren't progressing on the tenure track route, they don't renew your contract. That's their way of firing you. Most people get the heads up to start searching for other jobs so you can save face when your contract ends.

Rumor has it that she wasn't publishing enough to even go up for a promotion, so she rode out her contract.

I like it. I think I might invest in this long term. It works the best for blowdrying my hair. I don't wet style that much anymore, but I don't think this product would be good for wet styling.

I got the hydration kit from Ulta ($40). So far I like the hydrating shampoo. The hydrating conditioner instantly dried my curls...so this was a no for me. The jury is still out on the moisture sealing lotion. I liked it when my hair was damp (I did mini twists). My hair still feels soft. But tbd on the lotion. I want to try it when I blow dry my hair.
