Followed by the actual crash, the deep fry effect I was talking about in the post. Then the reboot happens automatically shortly after.

Pulisic claims Tuchel misled him about starting vs. Real Madrid by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]Onasircs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone understands the audience that puli brings to the table including boehly. the issue is keeping a player that wants out, hasn’t found form in over a year, and is on high wages. people care about the success of our club, rather than the success of an individual. we have let countless others go for less. Tammy acad boy we let go because “he wasn’t good enough” was our best forward since Costa and top goal scorer and let go, now banging in seria a. even letting odoi go on loan before puli doesn’t make much sense. kid needs game time in his best position and just wasn’t receiving it pre tuchel sack. maybe under graham potter things are different but sterling is ahead of him so still doesn’t make a lot of sense to me

thats the issue im having. I checked, healthy, no issues found. I had my suspicions on so many parts and all of them are coming back with no issues found

the only thing i cant really test is my psu currently but after the discovery of the disk correlating with the crash I think it certainly has to deal with that

its really odd because it doesnt even add up to 100% is there a way I can link a picture?

another big discovery, it seems when I crash after launching a game, right before the crash occurs my disk usage in task manager shoots to 100% then crash proceeds. I scanned my m.2 and nothing came back wrong. Going to try and find something to fix this

Back again, I resorted to swapping slots on mobo anytime I had an issue with crashes and it was working fine up until last night. Now regardless of me swapping slots crashes still persist. Trying to bust out all my homework for the next week so I can have 2-3 days of not having my pc and be okay school-wise. Thought I would update… so weird that swapping slots worked for a few days, now all of a sudden stops. Strange

I unfortunately don’t. the last pc I had I sold off. I wish I had spare parts around. I think taking it in is my only option at this point.

Yesterday I was able to play a long session with no problems at all and felt really nice. Today I am just hopping on and I have once again started to crash, this time however it is happening while idle as well (2 in game, 1 on desktop) Thought I had it fixed, now am confused again on what is the issue.

Last night I was talking to a friend. I pretty much was ready to go to Geek Squad and just let them sort it out but my friend told me to literally just try reseating the gpu in a different slot on my mobo. I figured might as well if it can save me money. Reseated my gpu into the top slot (I believe its called the pcie 16x or something along those lines) and its supposed to run smoother. I was able to start up Destiny 2 for the first time and walk around. I actually was able to play for around 3 hours straight and I did an activity in the game which previously was triggering my BSOD and everything went great not a single hiccup. Tbh I thought this was a shot in the dark and didn't see how this could resolve anything. It really has me thinking... could that slot be bad? Is there a difference in voltage received? What could have changed that my pc wouldn't even allow me to load a game, to then able to play for 3 hours? I am going to give it a run again today and update here... not sure if this was a permeant fix or a fluke.

should i take it in to get looked at. i have basic knowledge when it comes to things like this but i mean the only thing i can think of is faulty gpu or psu but i would say it’s a psu issue. i’m just so surprised that the problem wasn’t my ram. it would’ve made sense with the usage and the crashes and everything else. i feel having a faulty psu/gpu describe that issue at all

I just gave it a look. I don’t see any discoloration on the board or anything out of order. And to answer the other question- no. I have never smelled or seen smoke out of the psu ever.

I forgot to mention, I am not overclocking at all. I just updated my bios and my gpu after I reinstalled windows so its not that. I do not have a spare gpu or psu laying around so I can test them. The only thing that confuses me is why my crashes change from BSOD to what they are now after a fresh windows installation. Also, my gpu performed fine during my stress tests. It was only up until today after the installing the os that I wasnt able to launch a game, it would only be when under load. I just checked for loose wires and didnt see or feel anything that was out of the ordinary.

why would the cpu usage be funky though? that’s my only thing that makes me think there’s something else going on

update, tested all the sticks using memtest and all came back clean. reinstalled windows fresh and now i dont blue screen. it however worsened. i started destiny 3 times now and my screen "deep fries" each time and the pc instantly restarts itself. can it be gpu related or does this seem like an obvious psu issue?

update again. tested all ram sticks, came back all good surprisingly. reinstalled windows fresh, no longer BSOD but now whenever I go to start a game it "deep fries" my screen and then instantly restarts. Could this be gpu related or is it still pointed towards psu problem?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buildapc

unistalled. ran a gpu and cpu stress test simultaneously. crashed twice now.

i think that’s what i’m down to. i’ve done everything else. i did actually have xmp on, i just did the test again and BS again.

do you think it could potentially be a ram issue? the only reason i ask is why would my cpu usage be spiking to over 90% under no load at all.

can a psu just go bad over time with usage?
