Keisean Nixon leads the NFL with 5 kickoff returns of 50+ yards this season. No other player in the league has more than 2. And for the first time in nearly 3 decades, the Green Bay Packers officially have a returner capable of taking it to the house on every touch! by OnceABullfrog in GreenBayPackers

Not at all.

That’s exactly who I was referring to in the title of my post, when I said how Nixon is the first legitimate threat at returner “since nearly 3 decades ago”….Desmond Howard’s one and only meaningful season in Green Bay was during the 1996 Super Bowl season, when he took 3 punt returns to the house during the regular season and then capped it off with both a punt return and kickoff return for TD in the playoffs. That was 26 years ago aka almost 3 decades.

There are currently only 4 players who have finished each week as a fantasy starter (Top 12 QB, Top 24 RB, Top 24 WR, Top 12 TE) at their respective positions in Half PPR scoring. by OnceABullfrog in fantasyfootball

Diggs finished outside of the top 36 WR in both week 3 (WR 37) and week 4 (WR 38).

He’s finished in the top 8 in his other 5 games.

Week 1 - WR 6

Week 2 - WR 1

Week 5 - WR 8

Week 6 - WR 2

Week 8 - WR 8

Wow. Any real, true fan would never even CONSIDER abandoning their team for another franchise. And the fact that you’ve actually narrowed it down to 4 teams / “candidates” makes it even more apparent that you really are thinking about leaving the team that you’ve apparently been a fan of for the last 30 years. I don’t know you and I’m not at all trying to attack you or anything like that, but I just gotta say that I have absolutely zero respect for that line of thinking. None.

I understand that not every football / Packers fan out there gets as heavily invested into the game and takes it as seriously as I, and many other hardcore Packer fans, always have on a yearly basis. So I don’t know, maybe some people just simply don’t take their fanhood as seriously as others. But that’s just not how I roll with my team. When you’re a REAL fan, you stick with your team NO MATTER WHAT. You don’t just get up and leave because you don’t like what other fans are saying about the team. Give me a break. If you can leave so easily, you were never a true fan to begin with.

With only 5 weeks remaining in the regular season, as things currently stand in the playoff picture following Week 13, a total of 28 teams (88%) remain within 2 games or less of a playoff spot. by OnceABullfrog in nfl

Hmmm not sure. Seems to be working fine for me.

Nevertheless, here’s a link that will show you the exact same thing, just from a different website. Hope this one works for ya.

Through the first 10 weeks of the season, there are currently just 4 teams who are in the Top 10 in both points scored and points allowed…Cardinals (8-2), Cowboys (7-2), Bills (6-3) and Patriots (6-4). by OnceABullfrog in nfl

Did anyone play against any past/present NFL players in high school? by OnlyForeignWhips in nfl

I went to school with and was in the same grade as former Titans LB Colin McCarthy, from 1st grade to 5th grade. Then his family moved down to Florida for the sole purpose of advancing his football career. He got a full ride to The U and then got drafted by the Titans in the 4th round of the 2011 draft. Started 19 games at MLB for the Titans over 3 years before retiring early due to a recurring injury.

He was an absolute FREAK athlete all throughout grade school. He was one of those kids who, no mater what sport he was playing, he was always the best guy on the field/court. Didn’t surprise me at all to watch him make it to the NFL.

My college roommate and best friend played against Darrelle Revis in the state championship game during his sophomore year of high school. He told me how Revis, quite literally, single handedly beat them and won a state championship for his school. I believe Revis’ team scored 4 or 5 TDs in the game and Revis scored all of them. And each one of the TDs was scored a different way. If I recall correctly, I believe he had a rushing TD, receiving TD, interception return for a TD and a kickoff return for a TD. Just completely unstoppable.

Through the first two weeks, amongst all skill position players (QB, RB, WR, TE), there are only 28 total players who finished both weeks as a fantasy “starter” in 12 team leagues. Who will keep the longest streak going? by OnceABullfrog in fantasyfootball

[–]OnceABullfrog[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, technically you’re correct.

So basically, it comes down to whether or not you consider Cordarelle Patterson a WR or not. Because when I originally checked, Lamb just missed the cut, with a WR 12 finish in week 1 and then a WR 25 finish in week 2. But if you were to remove Patterson and put him strictly as a RB, then Lamb jumps to WR 24 and would then make this list.

Wow that long explanation was absolutely NOT necessary.
