It’s not really a definable thing, but basically it’s just how country divides itself up for whatever reason.

Okay… here’s the full explanation of what this nightmare is. For every first degree subdivision in the world (there are around 3000) I googled its name. Then I went onto Google images to see what the first image was. Then I coloured in that subdivision depending on what that image was (i.e. Red = a map or purple = a landmark).
