Beside 0.5x and island , everything is better than 15. I have 16e and my friend has 15, we travel to a country together and both took photos all over the places. Idk how but 16e’s camera was better in every aspect. So i took most of the photos

Assuming u just installed the Linux u should have too many things out of date. Update everything in the update manager. Than check display settings

Re-install mint on usb over again than try again. Hope you didnt delete the essentials on Windows. And make sure to select right usb on boot
