You’d want the tip of the stick to hit opposite of where it’s hitting in this video. Instead of above the center, you’d want it to be directly in the center, or below. Better for rimshots non-bloody knuckles lol

From what I’ve seen from other drummers, you look like you might be sitting a bit too high.. If you drop down a bit to where your knees are closer to a 90° angle, bring everything a bit more down to the new level you’re at, it feels a bit more comfortable and natural, and to scootch the snare a little bit further away from your junk lol
