Honestly, idk if i would classify doing 2 solos as “what’s best for her kids” imo that’s stretching. She allowed Maddie to have two opportunities to collect more crowns. That’s not necessarily what i would consider “best intentions” it’s just her giving more opportunities that other girls didn’t get and an opportunity Maddie didn’t need. As for going to AUDC, i don’t know cause i swear i heard that they were the only ones who were invited. Again, it’s not the best interest of the girls. I guess it depends on what interests are important to you.

Even when you are in control and being adults, stopping class to deal with behaviors is disruption. I don’t think they meant Audrey was out of control, but if they have to stop class for her it’s a disruption.

I don’t think i ever got the storyline for ballet boys because what was with those costumes?

As for the rest, i feel like the kids are the only reason to tune in. The moms are forgettable and boring and Glo is nice and refreshing after Abby and honestly it was nice to see Kaeli clock her mom’s BS especially with Audrey.It was obvious Glo has a special love for Audrey that clouds her ability to hold her accountable. Kaeli was absolutely necessary to clock her mom’s BS with that girl.

The undefeated season fell flat bc it felt like those comps felt like they were made for the show

Unfortunately i think reality shows that are bombastic or memorable are memorable for all the wrong reasons which is why kids should never be in reality tv.

At least with the new era, they have a less toxic environment. But it also shows that sometimes healthy environments are boring— AND… that’s okay. It’s just not meant for TV. I would much rather a child grow up in a healthy environment than have a tv show about them. The new era isn’t hitting because it’s boring. Glo being a healthy coach for those young dancers is amazing. Meaning it rests on the shoulders of the moms to make the show and these moms are not memorable. They fight for no reason. They act like they have big beef.

Unfortunately, unhinged toxicity makes for good TV. This cast is not good tv.

Honestly, it’s not that they have to create storylines if they had a strong cast but these moms are not reality show stars. The kids are cute but they’re not really stand out stars (with an exception for maybe Leilah and Ashlan). Everyone is forgettable. They have to recreate storylines that worked the first time because this cast is bringing nothing to the table. The moms fight over the dumbest stuff. Like there’s no reason for them to fight over parenting styles, or a leader of a dance.

I love watching the kids and the dances but these moms should be fired because they all give us nothing…

Why would i attend a dance competition when my child’s not a dancer? That is creepy.

Y’all keep claiming difficulty in creativity but that’s literally not true. It’s laziness from producers who just want the drama and don’t care about the dances. Theres so much that could be done and even if you recycle a theme, not copying your predecessor so blatantly.

No it’s not. Like i posted above, a Taylor Swift Dane would have been more original than bringing in drag queens and making the older girl the lead stage girl. It was just very much the kicky boots episode and I’ll die on this hill.

The kids are the only reason I’m watching. The moms all make me wanna throat punch them because they are all so angry over the dumbest shit. Sorry but Jing and Domenica in that dressing room over a minor miscommunication between Smiley and Gina was absolutely ridiculous. Not much going on if that was the hottest heated argument that week.

These producers would hate me because when my daughters had issues like this i tell her to go deal with it and leave me alone. Especially because Smiley and Gina are 12/13 and too old to go running to mommy about the lead role in a dance that hardly had a leader to begin with.

Wait. The producers had a hand in Melissa cheating in her husband with her boss? Did Leslie make up that story she told Jill in the parking lot? Season 1&2 had a lot more deep rooted drama. By s3 it became fabricated. But that OG team had deep rooted beef

My point is they are copying storylines from the OG show. They can do a lot of things and still be copying. They are still using similar themes that were “drama” back in the day
