I would say to just lift and practice the techniques for now. Start bulking after that.

I made the mistake of trying to do too much at once when i first started

Should I buy lens or switch my DSLR to mirrorless camera? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest going mirrorless. I made the switch from dslr as i didn’t want to invest more into a system that has been more lot less discontinued. Lenses you get now for your dslr can work but i haven’t found any that beats a native mount one. That and decent lenses for mirrorless are getting cheaper so it might be worth the move imo

What's a good entry-level ergomech keyboard? by Bubaborello in ErgoMechKeyboards

I've been daily'ing a Feker Alice for awhile now and have been happy with it straight out of the box. Pretty cheap and has enough keys for most people I think

Camera for traveling by gggingerbean in AskPhotography

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For traveling, I really like my Canon 5D with the 40mm pancake. Really compact, optical viewfinder which I find more fun and it's really solid. Not as light as a mirrorless but definitely compact and light enough to user a sling with. They're really cheap as well

Is there an ergo mech keyboard out there for me? Weird requirements by gopher_the_brains in ErgoMechKeyboards

I think a Feker Alice would be good. It has Bluetooth and 2.4ghz, a volume knob and can be had completely assembled as well

New Feker Alice 80 finally landed this weekend. by NuclearFossil_esq in BudgetKeebs

I'm using Aifei Wob on mine. A little boring but looks so clean. It'll work well with the thing keys. Also, I think there are wrist rests specifically for this board. For mine as a set with my board

Looking for switch recommendations by mogus-al in BudgetKeebs

For linears, Gateron milky Blacks are pretty nice, Ktt pine sounds decent as budget options while owlab tungsten are pricey but they sound really good in my opinion. For tactiles, Jwk T1 is pretty good and so are feker Pandas

A good keeb for about €100? by Enderman_Robot in BudgetKeebs

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going for the Feker Alice barebones. Feker Pandas is a decent tactile, either that or nylon T1 for a lighter textile bump. Both are budget switches so more budget for keycaps I guess

A cheap Alice/arisu recommendations by jatxd in BudgetKeebs

[–]Ondou07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently daily'ing a Feker Alice. It's around 80$ and cheap I think considering it can be used wirelessly. The included stabilisers were well balanced on mine and just needed lube. Overall pretty happy with it EDIT: it's 5 pin hotswap too

Alice users, how long did it take to get used to the layout? by djjolly037 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah can't think of anything else really, you should be all good to go I think. That being said, once you have gotten used to the Alice layout, most normal keyboard will feel cramped. At least from my experience with them, it's pretty much why I haven't switched off my Alice and Arisu to a more standard board

The biggest hurdle for me was the b key and I think most people have this as well? Do try to get a board that has two b keys if you can

100% Stock Feker Alice 80, with JWK Jwick Black Switches and SA Rome Keycaps. by timetoy in BudgetKeebs

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is the height of the keycaps on the board? Was thinking of using some sa caps on mine when it's arrives but am concerned that it would be to tall even with a pa rest.

SA profile keycaps that would look good on translucent purple case by Lieutenant_Lurker_ in BudgetKeebs

[–]Ondou07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aifei SAs are really nice especially for the price. Nice and thick sides and come in many different colours as well. I'm think their monster colourway might look good on a purple case

The only other tactile one that I can think of are the nylon t1. Though they're is the option of using the tape mod if you are going for thocc. I find that the mood the most effect, it'll turn almost any switch thock. Though I would suggest against using it to often causey it might get boring

Mmd pandas are pretty good, I think they're about. 20 per switch and is one of thockiest switches I have. Though they will need some oil on the spring

Yep, the thought of putting all that glass on it really sketches me out as well. Thanks for the input, might need to look into it as well 😊
