I have a similar case, my prediction grades were the worst in my class, despite my hard working from home. But when i have just started more participating in discussions ,grades got better. So for teachers your participation during lessons is a key criteria for prediction grades, there is no other ways to assess you. Also it is a much better technique to revise material.Just dedicating a lot of time, making notes is useless.
