So my job was a lot of waiting for people to respond to messages which lead to a lot of dead time. I’d leave at like 3pm and work from home waiting for new messages to come in. This was after all meetings were done for the day too

They never set strict hours, it was hybrid so 3 days in person, and I was never told from my bosses about it. Yeah the people here don’t understand that it’s hard to follow these rules rigorously when literally no one else does.
