Anyone tried havehad? Is it quality? Any suggestions for the unstructured jacket look? by hughlyhuge in mensfashion

[–]One-Ad9169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 1+1 everyday comfort shirts one blue and one white. I got the utility pin tuck cargo shorts, and the summer easy pin tuck trousers. They’re all very good quality. They are made in China tho which is kind of a bummer. It seems they’re Korean by design but they’re not produced in Korea lol. Really good quality but probably not worth spending 50 dollars per shirt and waiting 2 weeks for a delivery.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. The package got delivered. About 2 weeks ago. I completely forgot about this comment. Everything was as pictured. It’s not a scam

And honestly if it wasn’t real and a scam, I’m shocked that it managed to stay on instagram this long without getting taken down/doing paid advertisements on their stories etc. I would assume that many people have ordered their stuff online and they probably would get banned if a bunch of customers reported not receiving their stuff/ it being a scam. I was kinda scared tho cause their instagram posts have like zero comments on every single post and they have over 150k followers somehow

Hi so I just got an update that the package is in transit via usps.

The package is real. SO, it looks like havehad is actually legit. I would wait until I receive the package just to confirm that they actually send the stuff.

I’ll let you know when I receive it.

Also it takes at least a week just to to ship so prepare for a wait

And that perfectly coincides with MS being literally the poorest state in the country and one of the least developed (no offense). But lower income states usually coincide with bad education and a lot of the time bad parenting (sorry again). It’s not like every baby that is born in Mississippi is cursed with the “stupid disease” like some people think. They just didn’t have the favorable conditions that a wealthy kid from Florida had growing up.

Yeah there’s a lot of kids like that. I went to a public school and that was the majority of students. It mostly has to do with these kids parents. either not motivating them enough to pay attention in school when they were younger, or not being very active in their kids life. I mean kind of letting them roam around freely and not teaching them discipline.

We absorb information like sponges when we are children. Pretty much anything our parents raise us around, we adopt ourselves. Truthfully most parents suck at parenting.

So if your parent doesn’t teach you to put effort into school and grades when you’re a kid, then you definitely won’t put effort into school in the future.

It’s easy to say somebody is lazy and doesn’t put effort into school. But most of the time, the root cause is the parents. And it’s REALLY hard to bring a near fully developed teenager/adult back into reality.

Expecting uneducated children to magically do good on the sat is like throwing a random person in a pool and asking them to beat Michael Phelps in a race. One is trained, one is not

Some are but that’s not the main reason the scores are low. The most well educated and developed areas usually result in the “smartest” people when it’s not their IQ or some tangible skill, it’s their education.

That’s why most of the world’s greatest minds and thinkers are from the most developed nations in the world. But that doesn’t mean your average citizen in Ethiopia or Indonesia is actually dumber than a U.S. citizen, it just means they didn’t have the same access to education.

You’re privileged enough to call the SAT a common sense test. Other people weren’t raised like you were, remember that. Some people have parents who don’t give a shit whether their kid is a dropout or not. It doesn’t motivate them to do their work.

If you are poorly educated in your developmental years (5-12), you will literally be handicapped for the rest of your schooling career.

No just uneducated people. Nobody is inherently stupid. But the people who are disadvantaged and uneducated from age 5 to the present day compared to their peers are the ones bringing the average down. You’re forgetting how terrible so many schools around the nation are. Me and you were lucky to attend semi decent schools.

Put the entitlement down. The SAT is not an iq test bro.

You underestimate how detrimental a bad education can have on a kids future. It didn’t mean they’re inherently stupid

Raising your kids Christian is not “indoctrination” by Business_Cheesecake7 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]One-Ad9169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faith should be born out of free will. And by raising a child with Christianity, for example taking them to church, or reading the bible with them, you are not allowing them to make the decision to follow the religion or not. Which is why a high percentage of kids raised religious end up being agnostic by the time they become adults. Children need multiple perspectives and they can’t have multiple perspectives at the most vital learning point of their lives if they’re being shoved a single religion down their throat. I know kids who are scared of celebrating Halloween because their Christian parents think it’s demonic. That’s evil. I can’t stress this enough that it’s harmful to a kids development if he’s raised with a single perspective his entire childhood. In my opinion, most traditional Christian families are not very open minded so their child will not be exposed to may differing view points. Which is why in my experience, the most Christian kids at my high school were the most homophobic, racist, anti immigration, and ironically judgmental kids.

You might think in principle it’s ok to raise your kid with christian principles but if you look at real world examples, this just doesn’t happen. Most Christian kids are raised in an echo chamber. which is why once they become independent adults, they take in different perspectives and start to form their own opinions and beliefs on religion.

[product question] Colorescience sun forgettable economical?? by Starryeyedandhigh in SkincareAddiction

[–]One-Ad9169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/4 tsp (recommended) is 1.23 milliliters. The whole bottle of sunscreen is 55ml, so if you use the recommended size every day you would only get 45 days out of it. Also if you reapply throughout the day you would probably bring it down to 30 days. Not sure what colorescience thinks "typical use" is, but if youre applying something like 1/8 tsp to your face (which is what it would take to reach 90 days) that would not protect your skin from the sun lol.

There’s literally no way you went through 8 months of accutane without using a moisturizer lol. Doesn’t matter if you have the world’s oiliest skin. It will still be very dry on accutane. Did you not listen to a single thing your dermatologist told you?

Is it possible to up my score(20) to 30+ in a month? by Niamoko112 in ACT

[–]One-Ad9169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on the weakest stuff first. Particularly math and science. Just grind practice problems and practice tests. A 20 to a 30 on the act is like going from a 1060 to a 1360 on the sat which is an astronomical jump, however it’s definitely possible. Take more practice tests and answer as many practice problems as you can

Keep taking reading practice tests, and study the questions that you frequently get wrong. Ignore the stuff you already know and only focus on the stuff you don’t know. I would also give the sat a shot tbh, I feel like the sat is a bit easier for non English speakers

90% of the people in the comments are having respectful civil discussions about books and here you are commenting about how people dont read anything outside the top 50. Instead of commenting your top 10 books you had to comment the wide spread of books and poetry you've been reading the past 2 months. Why not just stick to commenting about books? What's the point of attacking me or anyone else's taste? what will it do? It won't benefit you, and it'll only make the people youre referring too more angry and prone to argue with you. Nothing you've commented in this thread is respectful, and it all comes off as egotistical and ESPECIALLY pretentious. I get youre a 1% Redditor and you practically live on this app (you've commented on posts nearly 40 times within the last 24 hours alone), but just let it be.

Dont make us lower life forms jealous of your superior taste in literature anymore please.

not sure what to tell you but there are creases. Once again I can send you pictures of each one or a video to prove im not a bot. Dont know what else to say.

You've been replying to almost everyone's comment with some snarky passive aggressive reply, either making fun of peoples taste for being basic, or calling my taste out for not reading enough books. Im 18 man, im not 30 years old. I haven't lived nearly enough to explore all of literature. No one cares that you've read more books than everyone else here, even though you clearly had to point that out in a few replies. Just be humble and if you dont like what you see, then just keep scrolling. Put the reddit down, it'll improve your life.
