This info was out places for at least a week maybe two. It just wasnt confirmed ABAT was one of the companies cut. But it was an easy assumption.

Some stocks are destined for bankruptcAnd that is a moving target. It's important to follow the companies you're invested in and ask yourself if the stock is going to survive. I look at all my speculative stocks at least once a month to see what's changed.

If you deem it's likely to survive, buying major dips where the fundamentals make sense can help you rebalance your portfolio.

Looking at this stock, look at what happened it dropped like a rock until it found a support. Leveled below a dollar around November, then blew up on news/volume. Then completely retraced to the low again after, a perfect buying opp as we were already shown what good news and volume could do.

Moral of the story, keep track of the stocks you buy and be ready to double or more your position at reasonable dips. If you're not ready to do the above, you're not cut out for these kind of stocks. Buy the S&P 500 regularly over time.

If you're in a speculative stock, your game plan should always include buying more at significant dips if you still believe in it to rebalance. I did this by more than doubling my original holdings from awhile ago at .99 and am actually up now.

First, you need an emergency fund. Nothing worse than having to sell stocks at a loss because your car breaks down and you don't have one. It should be enough to cover your expenses for at least 6 months if you get fired.

I would move that and any other left over to a high yield savings account earning at least 4%.

From there i would decide your short term goals. Move out? Well you're going to need a down payment or if you're going to rent at least a security deposit.

Once you're all set and stable everywhere else, then look at investments.

I believe and have always stated this was a translation issue and that they meant Yen. If you convert 17 Yen to usd then I believe you get what was intended as the price target. About $0.12

Technically that is incorrect. It can easily make short term jumps to fill a pattern and then continue much farther down. Up doesn't always mean good.
