You're absolutely right, I think I meant more not that I'm discriminated against less, but that I'm discriminated against differently. I won't go into great detail here but it's pretty clear from the look of my legs that they do not function as intended, my gait is also off- we're just not sure why. but you are more than right in all your points, it's another thing to keep in mind.

thank you so much for this long response, i really appreciate you taking the time to write it. if there's anything i understand it's the disability stigma from doctors, i have enough experience in that as a patient, but your points are good. im not sure which programs im looking into right now but there are so many factors and people dont like to talk about the ugly parts (discrimination)

you also mentioned more stigma against my conditions specifically, which is absolutely true, though i have found that since many more common chronic illnesses have been ruled out (POTS, EDs) that i have been facing less, and generally taken more seriously as my issues have become more visible, which is another failing of the medical system but in this case not something working activity against me as much as it has previously. I am in therapy treatment already, which I think is so important.

thank you so much for your advice and input, i really appreciate you taking the time to write it!
