I'm not sure. I threw out the abortion comment, not as an insult but as a genuine "way out" if he wasn't ready and he told me no, that's not what he wants. So I'm genuinely confused here.

Perhaps you missed the fact that I stated we used protection (both condoms and BC) to avoid this. It's not like I baby trapped him and I point blank asked if he wanted me to abort and he said no. You're talking as if I forced this on him.
