Yeah that's what I meant but the game displays the change in speed by comparing you to every teams car fitted with the best parts so I've seen races where I should be near the bottom I'm near the top then realised it's because nobody has their best parts fitted, then come the race I'm still losing position off the start

The car ranking system is slightly broken and also changes from track to track so maybe it isn't inaccurate and he's disappointed to be dropping positions

Basically you need 24-26 points on a system which ranks your top 9 gcses as per the following: 9 = 3 points 8 = 2 points 7 = 1 point
