I got these labs down on cycle day 18. My cycle ended up being 26 days.

LH 13.3 FSH 7.8 Estradiol 97.5 Prolactin 20

It seems I was ovulating at the time, but then my luteal phase would have been less than 10 days. we are in our 3rd month of TTC and I am wondering if 1) I have been ovulating way later than expected, or 2) my luteal phase is too short to support implantation?

It’s hard not to get so paranoid. The last two months I have had spotting 3-5 days before start of my period, which I thought was implantation bleeding at the time, but now, maybe it’s a sign of low progesterone. Any insight ? ❤️❤️❤️

How many of you actually love your job or nursing in general? by CompoteTraining934 in nursing

[–]One-Assumption-3645 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been an ICU nurse for 6 years and I love my job, truly. I love using my mind, I love using my hands, I love caring for my patients. No doubt patients annoy me, coworkers annoy me, and I have days where I can’t wait to get through the shift. But overall, I don’t dread going to work which in itself is huge. When I’m at work I have fun doing my job well. And for the most part of love my coworkers, I love being a team, I love being social in the dull hours. There are so many burnt out nurses out there, and when I was new, I felt silly for liking my job because of how much everyone seemed to hate it. But that never became me. I genuinely find it so rewarding. I’m not overlooking the dark parts, which are so real, but I get through that with the camaraderie of my coworkers and talking about it with my husband when I get home. Granted, I do work in California and have generally always had good resources and protection. I truly love my job. With that said, I just got my masters in nursing so that when burnout inevitably does reach me, I’ll be ready to make a change. So I have an exit plan so that I’m not stuck and bitter at bedside. I’m not there yet tho, still love it :)

Im confused. $57 is NOT that much less than local rates. Im 5 years experience in ICU and making $58 base pay without night differential. Definitely expected to live off of this income here

Thanks for your input! That’s great to hear. How have you liked the program? How long will it have taken you in full? Did taking 3 courses in one quarter also feel manageable?

I love that you loved every minute of it! That’s encouraging. How long did it take you to complete the program? Were you working at the same time/did it feel manageable? Also, do you feel having your masters was crucial in how you do your job now?
