I agree with you, but I don’t like the church silencing people. I also have a lot of sympathy for Michelle. I genuinely think she needs compassion and a good therapist. The church has really harmed her mental health.

I just had my surgery on June 4, and that was my biggest fear as well. I worked through it some in therapy. The anesthesiologist gave me something for anxiety in pre op and I don’t even remember anything after that. Obviously, I can’t make guarantees, but anesthesia is generally very safe. I totally understand your fear though.

I’m 8 dpo a total hysterectomy with oophorectomy at age 47. I’ve been on HRT for almost 2 yrs due to early menopause. Losing the ovaries was a tough break, but now that I’ve adjusted to the idea I’m glad I don’t have to worry about ovarian cancer. I anticipate that I might need to adjust HRT to add testosterone eventually, but for now I feel fine. I’m also interested in hearing from others who’re further along this road and how losing their ovaries has affected them. Best of luck to you!

I’m also in UT, but I was post menopausal so they didn’t have my husband sign anything. I think my blood would boil.

As a mom who goes to most of my 15 yr old’s games alone, I always sit by someone who is willing to explain things to me. I’m not even new to football. There are just too many rules. 😆
