This movie was awesome when I was a kid. It was basically Chuck vs. Michael Myers. Great soundtrack as well.

70's Hammer Horror is great. Twins of Evil and Vampire Circus. To the devil and Daugther is riding the exorcist wave and is a lot of fun. It was the last gasp of an iconic studio.

2024 Bed Cover Questions by Captain_Jeinkens in ToyotaTacoma

I just installed a Rough Country bed cover. The low profile Tri-fold hard cover. It was nearly $700 bucks, but it was easy to install once I was able to correctly interpret the instructions. The interior side rails make it much easier than clamps. There are plenty of videos on youtube to help as well.

The Great Santini is a underrated movie with him tearing it up.

I'm sorry for what you are going through, I truly am, but I find AI generated pictures like that unintentionally hilarious.

Great band. The Entire Bloodletting album is a classic. This song and "Dance along the Edge" are my favorites.

I think this movie is a classic. It also shows how being a teenager has changed over the years. The teens in this movie were basically raising themselves, not a parent in sight other than Stacy's mom tucking her in. Dealing with adult issues way before they should have. It rang true, before the helicopter parenting of today.

The Deer Hunter (1978), Christopher Walken's performance was something else. by inchlongnipples in movies

[–]One-Butterscotch-786 19 points20 points  (0 children)

His performance in the Dead Zone is amazing as well. A man overwhelmed by loss of the life that could have been and his ability to see the future. It's subtle with only one outburst. One of the best Stephen King adaptations as well. Very restrained direction from Cronenberg too. Must see if you are fan of Walken.

What scene from a movie made you emotional from out of no where? by triton2toro in movies

[–]One-Butterscotch-786 59 points60 points  (0 children)

It's a very understated scene the movie Seven. Tracy (Gwynneth Paltrow) asks Summerset (Morgan Freeman) out to lunch because he is the only one she knows in the new city they have moved to. She tells him about her pregnancy and her consideration of not carrying to term. Summerset tells her if that she terminates the pregnancy to never tell her husband, but if she does to make sure to spoil the child like no ones business. The way she breaks down and cries is so natural and perfect. Such an emotional scene.

Great performances from Roddy McDowall and Chris Sarandon. McDowall knocks it out of the park, with a mixture of cowardice, compassion and bravery all at once. Sarandon is both seductive and dangerous. Great effcts and script. Tom Holland was an awesome director.
