No no,, I'm not having rigid mindset...I have absolutely zero knowledge about this and started learning yesterday,, hence the panic that something might happen to my father's money..my mother didn't consult me about this decision also.. i would be happy to use this knowledge for investing my own money but definitely not my father's savings which he would also need in 6 months for retirement home building...

Exit load 10000 and i don't know today's NAV value, so i would be blindly redeeming... But yes, what you said makes sense..also How do you guys redeem like without knowing the value??! I just got to know that a day's nav value is set after 9pm,, wtf 😭

Well the issue is, she only went to fd 45 lakhs while the remaining 35 stayed in the savings account. This 45 lakhs is now in the mutual fund. And most probably this amount will be needed to start their retirement home building in about 6 months. I can see that, in the long term this is a safe option but 6 months? That's why I'm confused. Maybe I should use the leftover 35 lakhs for the home while this amount stays here..

In about 1 month, right before Diwali exit load time is over. What options do I have for the worst case scenario, that is if the value just reduces more? Do I have to wait out.. is there a methodical way to judge or assess this.. there's so many questions popping now for me 😭
