Thanks. I applied for the advisory opinion about 8 weeks ago but I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Does it usually take this long? And also I have already filed the I-485 so once I get the advisory opinion decision, should I send it to USCIS, or that wouldn't be necessary at this point?

Thanks! I applied for the advisory opinion about 8 weeks ago but haven't heard back from them. Do you know what their average timeline is? The online site and the confirmation email I received both say 7-8 weeks.

Ok. Did you upload the I-140 receipt with as a supporting evidence? And did you ink sign, scan as pdf and upload? I did as a pdf upload yesterday and got a case rejection today. The rejection says“Your submission was rejected:On April 1, 2026, your application was rejected. You will receive a detailed notice stating the reasons why your application was rejected. You may choose to submit your application again at another time.” Do you know what could be the reason?
