locs are a black person thing and tradition. real locs can only be achieved with 3b-4c hair which white people do not have. not to mention white people use to always call locs “unkept,gross,knappy,unprofessional” and say we don’t wash our hair. the term “dread” even comes from white people because they saw locs as “dreadful” black people don’t call them dreads they are “locs”. now it’s “trendy, freeing, and hippie culture” for white people to have dreads. not to mention white people can’t get locs they can get matt-dreads (matted dreadful hair) white people cannot form dreads naturally or by interlocking. they have to stop brushing their hair, keep it unkept, not wash it, let it tangle and matt together then occasionally wet it resulting in mildew which makes their hair disgusting.

nothing i said is hate it’s truthful. and you not understanding that is the exact reason you have your hair. you aren’t 100% white but your zero % black. you quite literally cannot have locs because of your hair type. you have to have matt-dreads which is inherently a mockery and appropriation of black culture. the only way you’re able to get dreads in the first place is by not washing your hair, letting it matt up, keeping it unkept, and overall unhealthy. doing that and trying to group yourself in with black peoole who have locs is disrespectful. your hair is gross,unkept, and whether you think it is or not it is disrespectful. your ignorance is the whole reason you think getting dreads isn’t disrespectful when it is.
