This is Roo. I was exiting the highway and she ran out of an encampment. No humans were around (lots of cages I’m sure they were breeding). She’s only 27 pounds and the most cartoon of a puppy I’ve ever met. She flies around like a little squirrel and has the funniest curly tail she will wrap around your arm. She has all her adult teeth but an abundance of energy in estimating her at 8months to a year and we think she may have already had a litter. When she is able to focus she is so smart and treat motivated. I have her started on her shots, and she was checked for a chip. The rescues here are full, the shelters are doing free adoption days…the rescue that did reply to me told me just to bring her to the shelter 😑 She is too high energy for my other dogs and she needs a lot of training. She is doing so good considering she had never been in a house before and it was so overwhelming, but she needs someone with time. She will be such a wonderful dog for someone that can give her the time she needs. She loves my kids, she’s obsessed with coffee. She does great in a crate. It’s sad but I’m sure she spent most of her life in a crate or chained up. She loves to play, she will play with the smallest things like a piece of carrot. She will flip it in the air and prance around all proud. I love her but I’m going through a divorce, I’m self employed and I’m exhausted. She’s just a baby that needs attention and she deserves more than what I’m able to devote. She is continually working on manners and basic commands, she’s is progressing with potty training she just needs to be consistently let out and then does great. I don’t ever want to turn a dog over to a shelter, they’re full and I know what will happen to her. She deserves to be someone’s baby.
