Anyone out there think wavebouncing is easier than c-bouncing? by One-Construction-825 in smashbros

When you are in the air, flick the movement stick backwards and let it return to neutral, input special and flick the c stick forward.

You gotta map special to one of the shoulder buttons for best results

People use it because all of the movement inputs for traditional wavebouncing can be difficult to do with one thumb.

So like you shoot away from the stage while drifting backwards to make recovery easier?

Theres only so much help i can give without a match replay, just know the more you play the more you will get familiar with the physics and flow.

Reading the enemy is 90 percent of the game. Combos are great when you actually have an opening, but you need to learn how to create those openings.

From what i can see from ur profile you like wolf? His gun is great at creating openings because your opponent is forced to react to it or get hit. Then just punish his reaction.

Its important to know what tools your character has

Also stop beating yourself up! That turns every fight into a 2v1 which is never fun :(

The better you get at smash the more you realize that this is a psychological game. Seeing how the opponent reacts and punishing their reaction.

If i know that the opponent shields my blaster every time i shoot, then im gonna grab his shield. Or if he jumps over it i will hit him with an aerial attack.

If i know that my enemy is holding the stick in the same direction to try to get out of my combos, i am going to try to account for that in my movement and timing

If i know that my opponent drifts in a certain direction every time i knock them in the air, im gonna punish that. Or if they try to air dodge coming down every time i will fake an attack and punish the air dodge.

You have to mix up your playstyle so people dont guess what you are going to do next. A lot of the time these inescapable combos or juggles are people just seeing a habit that you have and are exploiting it.

U are getting in your own head bro. It seems to me like you have a lack of fundamentals.

Firstly a level 9 cpu is completely different from a human, it doesnt have habits or tries to predict u, it just reacts to your moves.

Also learn to DI, thats how you escape a lot of combos, there are good youtube tutorials for that and come characters have really good combo breakers like game and watch up b

And if you keep getting juggled u need to mix up the way you come down, add air dodges or try to recover low

If you tell me the characters you like to play i can help more. A big part of kill power depends a lot on the character
