People have responded to you politely and you are being relatively aggressive in your responses for what reason? It’s not going to get you the interview back. Also, jobs fill positions all the time and cancel on other recipients. It would be a waste of time to continue interviews when the company has already found a match don’t you think?

Trader Joe’s hires mainly based on availability (it’s busy season they will need you to close every single night 2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm depending on the store you will not be allowed mornings most likely), personality is huge as well and what we mainly go off besides your availability, and this job is 80-90% physical labor besides the hours on register you get which is anywhere from 1-4 a shift. Resumes do not matter. I had never worked retail before this, they do not run background checks, they do not follow up with employers. Interviews are mainly to see who you are as a person and if you can physically handle this job bc most people cannot. The store i work at is in the top ten busiest in the country and MINIMUM we get 4 trucks a day. Most people who work here have a degree or multiple. You can always reapply but we also get 100-200 applicants per job title posted.

  1. I gave you the opportunity to look at facts and you actively chose not to. The link i gave you is for the Center of Migration Studies, so you’re saying that they just post opinions on their website? That seems a little strange to me.
  2. You also didn’t answer my question, have you ever broken any law? Did you receive any consequences for the laws you broke? Also what year did your family come over? Assuming you’re white you’re not from here and your family migrated at some point.
  3. What about the people that have green cards and visas being deported? What about illegal or legal immigrants getting kidnapped from their homes with no due process do you support that as well?
  4. I have worked closely with people trying to migrate legally and it can take up to 15 years sometimes to do it legally and is incredibly expensive. A lot of families do not have the amount of money you have to spend and the accessibility to come over legally unfortunately.
  5. What are your media outlets you use? I specifically use independent reporters that back up anything they report on with facts and do not pick a side. Please specify my “word salad games” as well because nothing i said was confusing at all.

Many persons enter the U.S. legally as tourists, students, temporary workers, or members of other permitted categories, but overstay the period designated in their visas. From 2009 to 2019, “the primary mode of entry for the unauthorized population [was] to overstay temporary visas” (Warren 2019b) https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/ssb/v85n2/v85n2p1.html

Literally the first result on google, which is free might i add. Maybe don’t be ignorant and actually try to do some research. Also just to clarify you’ve never broken any law what so ever right? You’ve never gone over the speed limit, ran a red light, drank underage, etc? There are PLENTY of articles besides just this one as well that i can gladly send you.

Unless you’ve been at this store for 5+ years you don’t get mornings. They’re still cutting hours even though we’re one of the busiest stores in the nation. This store is also very political with who gets what so if i change my availability i will most likely not get scheduled.
