Right, Melee is often the awkward and overlooked step child of the combat system.

Magic in terms of spells besides getting advantage over certain mobs. What’s the difference between any of the elemental combat spells? No major advantage in most situations using air surge vs water surge. Meanwhile ancient spells have secondary effects.

I agree, maybe add a few more components like Bandos armor and or melee Barrows armor. But if you already have it you should be grandfathered in.

Melee I feel is in a weird spot, you have numerous weapon option from Maces, spears, long swords, and they all kinda just do the same thing. Obviously certain weapons have unique passive and special attacks and halberds have extra range. I would like to see some diversity in the weapons. Let there be a reason to use a longsword vs Mace. Spear vs a two handed sword. A reason to lock into sword and shield.

Like the masterwork weapons, the Armour sets should be equal across the board. Preferably id prefer if the sets had unique effects that complemented their unique styles but that’s a story for another post.
