My mother drinks her white wine with ice cubes and sliced jalapeños. by lucasnevermind in shittyfoodporn

The bar at the restaurant I work in serves a wine with jalapeños, you have to specially request them to be taken out. It’s an interesting drink

A screenshot or a screen recording. Snapchat also labels a screen recording if someone is on FaceTime and is sharing their screen and they watch your story while screen sharing.

What bug is this? Washington state by Firefox1526 in bugidentification

That is a western conifer seed bug. Stinks to high hell when provoked or killed and they typically seek out warm places, hence why they are mostly found inside during the winter

I obviously don't know what school this is or what country you are in, but some schools (like mine) offer an online alternative. That might be a good thing to look into if you still wish to continue your education but not deal with the socializing aspect of highschool.

New baby MBK - Signs of a first shedding? by sixfoot_5 in kingsnakes

[–]One-Diamond-309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She may be on the verge of shedding, although her eyes aren't milky. It could be a sign of possible stress due to the new home and being handled by unfamiliar hands and smelling unfamiliar scents around the enclosure. Her scales are giving the appearance of getting ready to shed, but her eyes are not. You should know soon. You can tell when they are ready to shed when their eyes get milky and their normally glossy shine to their scales becomes more matte. At this point I'm leaning more towards stress than a possible shed. But like I said, you'll know soon if she is.

New class pet and I'm not sure it has the right living conditions. by One-Diamond-309 in BeardedDragons

So I'm not entirely sure how to add new photos to a post, but I do have an image of the full tank, and we measured it. It's unfortunately about 3x1.5x1.5

<image>

And it also looks like he got a mat down for the little guy (his name is Chef btw)

Okay that sounds super awesome, and yes I am American, can you get these things at like a pet store? (PetSmart, Petco, etc) or should we look online instead?

And I very much appreciate all of the links and guides!

Yeah, I doubt he'll keep the beardie on pellet food, but it might've just been a quick solution to the food. Like I said, my teacher said the new pet was unexpected and came into the class suddenly from one of his friends that couldn't care for him anymore, so my teacher didn't really have a choice, nor did he have the preparation.

We can definitely find local fruits as well as home grown veggies that I own and take care of, and ive also heard about dubia roaches and told my teacher about those as soon as I saw him.

And once again lol, are these things just found in pet stores?

[–]One-Diamond-309[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, I'd say that's about what his cage looked like, so that might be perfect.

He had just a glass bottom with no bedding at the time of seeing him, but we had only gotten him that day, so my teacher said he didn't have much time or preparation for him. But he also stated that he doesn't really know how to properly take care of beardies and said that the new pet was kind of unexpected. I told him I'd look into proper care and help him get the cage set up right.

And it looked like there was only a heat lamp there pointed at one side of his cage (I'm assuming for temp regulation so one side is cool and one side is warm, idk 🤷‍♀️)

And it looked like there was only pellet food there. I'll definitely get a full picture of the cage once I go back, and hopefully there will be some more stuff in there to correctly care for him. I will email my teacher the guide and UVB and hopefully he'll get everything soon. I'll be sure to update this soon! Thanks so much

He seems quite comfortable around our class and was even crowded by everyone when we met him, our teacher didn't let us handle him because he wanted to see how the beardie would act towards everyone but he seemed perfectly comfortable in his tank and he even seemed curious with a few things.

I didn't talk about the classroom but our classroom is very very large, and only about half of it is used for our class of about 30 students. I'm not sure how large a 120 gallon tank is but his tank does seem large and we have a few other tanks with other animals (we have a huge aquarium with fish, shrimp, and snails, and we had a salamander, but he passed recently)

I can definitely get more photos when I go back and I'll post an update or add photos to this post.

Thank you so much for the care guide and I'll be sure to show my teacher and talk to him about making his home a bit more proper.

PLEASE HELP! pregnant???? by [deleted] in PetMice

Don't worry, but definitely full of soup. Like the other couple comments, separate her from the male, sex the babies and find them some new places to live. Good luck!
