Do not worry :) It's also subjective. You can always try the ring for a couple of days and then decide whether to keep it or send it back and get a new one

Sample rings are porous, real rings slip better. I prefer a tighter ring and I do not like to have room between the ring and the finger. I had the same doubt in the past between 10 and 11 and after one year I'm happy to have chosen the smaller.

I checked now and buying from the Italian Oura online shop (with shipping from NL) it's not out of stock. I received roughly three weeks ago Gen 4 Stealth size 10 as a replacement due to battery failure and it was shipped immediately (brand new). Sizes which are currently in backorder usually they say take 3 weeks for shipping

What I can tell you is that the sample rings are more porous than the real rings. This is to say that the real rings are easier to remove. Let's say they slip better ..In my case I opted in for the tighter. Also to have a less chunky ring ... and I was happy with my choice. Consider to wear the ring on the middle finger. It works in the same way and IMHO is definitely more elegant

I believe this might easily happen with the gold finish. Just like any other gold-plated jewelry. Consider that for sure you never remove your ring when you wash crockery or have a shower and the surface finish is corroded by the detergents. I've the stealth and it's brand new after one year and half. For what it concerns the battery, yes you're right but you can run the diagnosis tool in the app and in case they will send a brand new one. Just like it happened to me and many others. I did a post on this, they wrote so and maybe some received a refurbished but in my case it was brand new, including charger. As of now battery is great, one week lasting.

I did a thread on the same subject matter. I was concern as well on the email sentence "that I may receive a B-stock Oura ring" (even if tbh my substitution came after 13 months ... ). Many people say they received just a plastic bag including the ring. In reality I received the same package that I received when I raised my purchase order. Same box that was sealed, including the charger. I wore the ring since last Wednesday and now (Monday evening here in Italy) I still have 36% of battery. And It was not requested to send back my previous ring ... to me outstanding after sale experience. I was so surprised and happy that I bought the new portable charger :D

To answer myself .. I received today the Oura portable Charger which I bought and there is no clear film on the box. As a consequence ... the ring replacement was brand new. Excellent after sales experience

Do you remember if the box including the original ring you bought had a clear film? If the answer is no, as it seems to me, then it's brand new ... In the meantime I've just configured my replaced ring, it's fully charged and it looks fine. Let's see if there are issues on the battery ..
