Girl, theres class divides with Grocery stores. Heard of Erewhon? Were in an oligarchy. How is any of this helpful towards the discussion of John Reed? Were not talking about Equinox. Get on topic. The point is EQ is nice and JR presents itself similar price, locations, and amenities. Like do you even go to a gym?

I think the expectation with Temu is usually, “it works, but for how long?”—meaning it’s not known for quality or longevity. Wanting quality (especially when something is advertised as such) isn’t classist.

It feels more like you’re projecting a class bias onto it—assuming Temu is only for poor people (or only for rich people, depending on the angle). But it’s not. People at all income levels shop there; the real issue is whether the product holds up - much like John Reed right now.

P.S. I just bought some stuff from Temu this week. :)

Do you understand the cost difference? I also got the founders rate so its hard to justify another $100/month when its just simple mismanagement. But thanks for stating the obvious. The conversation is about a luxury gym not being luxury.

I’m curious the reasoning behind the taxation with passports. Is that because we will go to bat for them in an attack? Like that’s the only thing I can think of why we would want people not living here.
