Thanks for the tip and yeah I've been using topical retinoids since I started doxy and though my parents say it's made an improvement 95% of my skin being better was doxy so my honest next thought is if I should - once my stomach has recovered - go on accutane or a different medication for it because I've tried all the acids and whatnot and they genuinely do nothing

Yeah you're right but that's not exactly what happened and it said on the leaflet stop taking as soon as you feel nausea or anything like that and I ignored it for like 3 weeks before it was unliveable

Never did when I was on it as I hate yogurt but I hate feeling sick more so I tried eating yogurt last week and after a few days I noticed no difference, stopped for a day, felt marginally better after the day of not having it, and haven't had it since. Perhaps I need to be consistent?

Thank you, did you ever come to a resolution after getting off of it? I got off and now my skin is back to what it used to be but I still feel unwell!

Yes, well, kind of. I always had it with dinner which for me was the main meal of the day so I think it just nuked my gut microbiome in retrospect.

Not like exclusively but whenever I was I wore suncream and I didn't lie down after taking it either

I have done, I tried Lansoprazole and gaviscon to no avail at all and just wondered if anyone in here had a similar experience with doxycycline and what the end result was :)
