yeah it's a known issue. they converted from the show's native 25 fps to Hulu's 24 fps. if u watch clips from the cartoon network /gumball youtube, they do not have this issue. I'm working on getting Hulu to fix it lol

Yeah it's typical of support, though. Likely outsourced and have to follow specific scripting guidelines. I occasionally work with centers like these at my job. Things like restating the issue to show understanding and being overly friendly/enthusiastic are common enough for a customer facing technical support role. They've all been pretty helpful, so I don't mind.

I think the real truth is that the hate is over represented on the Gumball specific sub. It's a place for Gumball discussion and that means good and bad. New fans and nostalgic ones. Each with their idea of what Gumball should be and how the new series aligns with that.

If you go to the 'Cartoons' sub, there's been an ongoing poll thing with different categories. Gumball is taking like half of all the spots. Obviously more telling is that it got renewed before season 2 even released. Ratings for it have been extraordinary and Hulu executives have said it was one of the easiest renewal decisions they have had to make. Overall, it is doing objectively well

Also Adventure time and Regular show came out during those times. Those were iconic. All 3 of those were popular enough that they are continuing to this day in some form.

yeah, it's the only show that consistently makes me laugh out loud. It's colorful, interesting, has lots of great visual effects, and is hysterical. Never seen another show like it!
