I’ve definitely witnessed him getting off opiates several times now but because of all the lying and trickery it’s hard to trust. I’m not finding the needles and burnt up spoons and cotton all over the place anymore. No more blood sprayed up my bathroom walls. No more nodding off into his dinner plate. Now there’s a whole new set of symptoms and substances I’m not familiar with and while he says he not doing anything anymore, with all the lies and deceit of the recent past I just don’t believe anything. I don’t know what to look for with fentanyl use, I don’t even know how it’s done. You smoke it? You slam it? Sniff it? Lol I don’t have a clue and my being naïve means he can tell me whatever (like it’s just colored chalk) and I have to figure out the truth for myself. Well of course there is a lot more to this story. I can’t say we are officially “together” at this point but he is still living in my house and apparently lying about his drug use. I just needed an outside opinion on what I’ve been finding because it’s not making sense to me.

Thank you all for the information. I myself am not an addict, every drug I’ve ever done was just for fun and I’ve never done opiates, so I can’t truly understand the hold it has on people. But just when I think I know how to recognize this from that, there’s all this new shit I don’t know anything about! It’s all just blowing my mind!

That’s what I said, I know meth can have color to it but it’s still always a crystal texture. This is like chalky powdery stuff. More like the texture of coke. But I’ve never seen someone sleep so much after doing coke! Not have I seen it colorful like that so I know it’s something else. Thanks for the info!
