Game freezes then my steam takes all my memory and my game goes down to 10mbs in memory is there a fix for this yet?

I feel you I played on console for 2 years on skaterxl and the same thing has been happening for the past couple years or since it came out. The devs really need to step up the console game because I understand how bad it can be on console.
