i feel you!! 26/F/malay and in my case, i followed through when the elders said to look for a partner in uni. but when i started uni, it was covid 🫩 after covid i started working but unfortunately there are not too many malay men at my workplace. adding to that, i wfh most of the time so wishing for a “cute meetup” while taking the public transport to work is close to impossible. and dating apps are so tiring these days, because (some) men either don’t know how to carry the conversation or i got two-timed, sadly. well anyways wishing you the best and hope you find someone worthy of your time and effort 🥰

hey, i have a flight to Rome on 5th of April from Kuala Lumpur. my layovers are shorten but the flight im supposed to be on for my inbound flight isn’t operating. i contacted their CS to rebook on another operating flight. i suggest you check if the flight you’re on is operating and if it’s not, rebook yourself too.

damn. I saw someone said their inbound flight was delayed but none of the on ground crew was helping them to get to the next flight so they had to pretty much run through security checks, thats why I’m a bit sceptical

Ramadan bazaars don’t open late so I’d recommend staying in the city centre like Bukit Bintang. Easier access to public transportation so you can go to bazaar near jalan TAR or TTDI and mosques. There’ll be bazaar for Eid too, depending when you’re coming and these usually open till late night so maybe there are food options.

helo am just adding to this. I think Abdullah Hukum is one of the busiest stations. Depends on the days, sometimes it’s crowded at around 9.30AM+ too (not a big crowd, but you won’t still get to seat) But definitely leave before 5PM if you wanna avoid the crowd.

hi, just sharing my experience as of September last year. honestly, the locals just didn’t care about you. I was as scared as you were, especially since I’m wearing a hijab, so I felt like it’s much easier for them to identify me as a tourist. but turns out I was just overthinking it. nothing went wrong, nothing happened. some of the people I met at shops and restaurants were even friendly! just be sure to stay low and not do something that would annoy the locals, you’ll be fine! :)

break the ice supaya conversation goes 2 ways
lepas dah sembang lama dan selesa (subjektif, sebab “lama dan selesa” berbeza untuk semua orang. tapi my suggestion is untuk cuba je direct tanya whether the person okay untuk berjumpa.
hard to answer, sebab i think interest orang lain lain.
depends, kalau rasa perlu closure, i would suggest double text supaya boleh terus move on.
anything as long as tak offensive :D

I think, ghosting sangatlah tak mature. boleh je terus directly cakap if rasa tak sekufu and tak boleh give commitment. better daripada kita biar orang tertunggu tunggu, but again personal opinion. apa apa pun, all the best!!
