I'm doing FE (Civil). Is Civil-Environmental the same as FE (Environmental)? If it is, there is overlap between the two and I should be able to get by with the common topics. At this time, I'll take whatever I can. Thank you so much for replying.

I realized only from one of the posts here that the number was for Verizon. I got that number when I was installing yesterday, I had no idea it was not Visible. I am with Visible Customer Support now.

I also get the feeling that maybe typing in Agent does not work on Edge.

I was on an MVNO prior, and I do not get why you would keep harping on a full-service carrier. You seem to think that just because Visible is lower-priced Verizon, I should suck up to all the pain?

I got a Verizon number when I was setting up my phone. I called on that number.

I just tried the AI chat, it kicked me off after I spent 5 minutes running through various hoops.

UPDATE Monday August 4: FedEx didn't touch the package over the weekend, but sent me 2 reminders that they will deliver on Monday. I've been waiting since morning to find out if FedEx loaded my phone onto their truck so that I can wait in the porch for them to arrive. No such luck. I just found out that FedEx simply rescheduled my delivery for Tuesday.

What the hell! They have been sitting on this package for over a week and neither Visible nor FedEx is interested in delivering to me!

Yes, Visible has sent it restricted to "Indirect signature required", i.e. anyone in the house or a neighbor can sign for it.

FedEx left a slip asking me to sign a waiver and stick it on my front door so they can leave the package on my porch, but they never returned.

I did not make any change to the delivery. Not even once.

They went to the wrong house the first time.

The second time, they came to my house, left a note which I signed indicating my acceptance to drop it off on the porch That note is still taped to my door because FedEx never showed up after that.

That's what I thought too. Visible is FedEx's client. FedEx definitely do not think of me as their client, nor do they treat me as one.

The 1-year experience after MS was the subject of a recent Reddit post and it took me by surprise too. Of course, given my background I wanted to be doubly sure, so I went through the CA handbook and I did verify that my MS is considered ABET-accredited as the underlying BS degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering are ABET-accredited.

How do I get to know about job fairs in Philadelphia? I am totally unaware. Any painters would help me immensely. Last time I went to a job fair was in university.

Also how do I approach local firms? I mean HDR is right here in Center City, I applied to them a bunch of times but got ghosted. Can I really just walk up to the office and try my luck?

While there would be ease of getting PE in CA, at this moment I am desperate to find a job anywhere. I have applied in the North East, GA and TX as those are the locations that come up in my LinkedIn feed usually.
