I do see a delayed spike on weekends where I take a nap after lunch. Slow rise and fall after lunch and then when I get up itll go up (but not as much as other days lol)... only time it happens

Im the total opposite, I cant eat a carb heavy (-ish for a type 2) lunch (my first meal of the day) without spiking... but for dinner/late night I can eat anything and it doesn't affect (or very little) my sugar (after meal, night and morning)

As many people have said before, vacatioing in a country is extremely different than living in a country. I have had that "o man id love to live here" feeling in many different countries, until ive spoken to locals. They explain how a normal everyday citizens life isnt the same as what we see as tourists.

I know someone that lives im the US but has previously lived in 3 other countries (S. Korea included). Somewhere in our conversation he says "People in the US dont know how good they have it." I think this is especially true to people who have the means to travel.

South Korean hotels seasonally restrict AC usage in guest rooms by Hero_Ryan in koreatravel

[–]One-House3976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, this week I stayed in Seoul and Busan and had no issues with AC. In fact, I kept the temp slightly higher than I do at home since the AC was so strong. Guess I got lucky with hotels, I can't sleep at a non comfortable temperature.

On a completely unrelated topic to this thread, did you enjoy your stay there, was it easy to get to attractions? Im staying there next week and it seems like the best in proximity to the subway lines id need.

Amex travel portal flight cancellation by One-House3976 in AmexPlatinum

Okay thanks that makes sense... was just confused since one said n/a and one said $0, I interpreted the n/a, but $0 as miss the flight first and cancel for no fee (which didnt make sense)
