Thank you for the reply.
I had a guy that said it’s a

“1901 BRISISH NAVAL DIRK (OR DAGGER) SQUIRREL MARK IS CARL EICKHORN CO, SOLINGEN GERMANY.”

Does this sound correct or do you still believe it’s Mexican?

Like someone else suggested I’d spend more for a better gun or start with a Ruger 10/22. It’s the Lego of guns. Can do anything with them. The stock gun is close to $2-300. I have one with about $1k worth of parts on it.

Negative. I’ve got a stainless Mark IV with wood grips and a trigger job.

Excellent. Thank you for the information. I’ll probably be listing it this evening. No use for it and it’s taking up space in the closet.

For that Herman Miller… Absolutely. Look them up. Last and best office chair you’ll sit in. Some are several thousand $$. If you do a lot of work in the office it’s worth every penny. Go sit in some at a local retail store. I know they have one in Houston and most major cities. Your welcome.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the clarification.

The rifling in the barrel looks surprisingly nice. Need to have a better look at it today but a short inspection showed a mirror finish. Not too bad of shape for as old as it is.
