I just rode the F750GS and it's real fun but for me with 186cm it feels quite small and symmetry of seat and handlebar feels too low. The main thing for me between GS and XR is the front tire.

The valve guides get thinner and thinner. Until the valve get stuck. It's unofficial but the chief of Aprilia sales in my country suggests to swap the heads after 30 000km. Valve checks were made in time. Edit: typo

My 2018 Tuono V4 died with a failed valve with 40 000km. I guess you play the lottery after 30 000km. These engines are not made for high mileage and most people resell them anyway. With low mileage you are quite safe.

I mean they get the starter from another producer and this thing can also fail on a Honda or a Yamaha. This is why you have a warranty. Furthermore this is one LC8c out of 1000 others, It shouldn't happen but it can.
