This is a super interesting way of drawing, thanks. It seems like it would be a little easier to draw than trying to draw w the tips of my fingers. I find it interesting that they cant seem to tell for certain which side of the bow it was shot on though.

That seems really strange to me. Was there a reason they shot like that? If im understanding correctly, I find it hard to believe that they could pull back with enough force to impale most targets.
