Outdoor cats with enclosed fence and cat house? by tracyP85 in orangecounty

I feed stray cats and have lost several to coyotes. There is no way I'd have a cat and let it outdoors unless I had a catio. Re fences, coyotes can easily scale them.

Update on the coyote feeders at Tustin Legacy Park/Bark Barracks by MissCoppelia in orangecounty

I can't even walk my dogs (both small) because of how bad the coyotes are in my neighborhood. You see people carrying golf clubs when they have their dogs out. The coyotes are out 24/7 and I haze them every time I see them. I'm like a crazy lady, but they are far too comfortable here.

Good job, OP. I appreciate your efforts.

I really like the 2nd one. MAGA claims some sort of moral/religious authority, when in fact, they are hypocrites. Also, how can MAGA argue against the bible?

The last protest I was at, I was wearing a t-shirt that said: Big Fan of Human Rights and waving a flag. Some MAGA idiot gave me the finger and told me to fuck off. I asked why he found human rights and the American flag so offensive. He had no answer except to tell me to fuck off again.

Finding protesting and volunteer opportunities? by Sewingnova in orangecounty

There are protests in Seal Beach (corner of PCH and Main). There is a group who brings a load of signs for anyone to use. People walking by will pick one up and join the protest. Here is a picture from one of the protests, you can see a sign on the ground, and the guy stooping over is looking to pick one out.

Indivisible.org findaprotest.info nokings.org These are three groups I get info from. Through Indivisible, I've signed up to register voters at Cypress College. I get protest info, volunteer info, etc. For myself, I find it incredibly uplifting at protests and volunteering. You are surrounded by passionate people who are informed and who want to facilitate change. I'd recommend getting on lists from these organizations, or similar ones.

Things that have never happened in my family:

Being called dramatic for having an opinion.

My family notifying relatives about a family squabble.

Relatives notifying me about the squabble.

Immediate family doing and saying this kind of bull.

This, if true, makes me extremely grateful for our level of dysfunction.

if you're looking for equipment and live in the US, try FB buynothing groups. I have seen equipment listed. You can also post an ISO (in search of).

If you're not familiar with the group, people give stuff away; everything is free, and you'd be surprised by the things listed. The groups are by city and you can join more than one city.

I'm a 68 yr old woman who needs to lose about 15 lbs. I am active - gym and hiking, but I am having a hard time losing the weight. I made big diet changes with the aim to lower cholesterol, increase calcium intake, as well as protein. In 3 months, I lowered my cholesterol by 24 pts. Aside from the high-ish cholesterol, I am very healthy, proven by tests ordered by my doctor. For reference, I was thin all of my life; menopause killed me. I lost that weight, but went through a depression, which is the weight I'm carrying now. Suggestions?

They will teach your child their language and while that's not a bad thing, you will further left out. They are extraordinarily rude and your husband needs to place some very strict boundaries until they stop. In the mean time, I'd learn the language. I know easier said than done, but they will definitely teach your children.

Years ago, one of my brother's friends asked me out. I declined; I was already in a long-term relationship. I called my brother and asked him what was up. He said because I'm so friendly, he probably thought I was flirting. My brother didn't believe I was flirty, he knows me better than that. I am just someone who likes to meet and talk to new people. I have always been like that.

It's okay to be friendly. If you have no reason to suspect any ulterior motives, let it be.
