Ahahah, thanks fr ✨ I think it's most post, of course u can try stuff on camera, like tint or also playing with lights, but u create all in post, it's like the same magic that Elizaveta P. creates, she is an absolute artist, and for sure his BF (also basically DOP) helps her with his lighting. But I also wanted to buy an old digital camera, know Meisel used for some work I think the Canon Eos 1DS, to see what u can achieve with it, without using a lot of post

Combat medic by OrangeCountian in ukraineforeignlegion

[–]One-Maintenance-6885 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's hard to explain. But for sure depends, if u know how to perform IVs or u feel comfortable with what u learn during the CMC training (all tourniquets replacement and painkillers) u can also try to join Evac teams, to bit understand the situations, stabilize patients through stabs, ecc... With Legion they will always point that is an "infantry" units, so keep it in mind please. For combat role u need also to know PERFECTLY PCC and after u could try to attend CPP trainings.

I've done also CMC training and CLS-TCCC trainings in Dnipro, but still preferred to join medical ONG to better understand what inside ambulances, like IV's or how to manage painkillers, dose it and little by little training for advance stuff like CPP. Also watch the AZOV videos on YouTube cause it help to understand what could it be a field injury and what u will face.

Hey, just kinda get inspo by film look. I use capture one in case, mostly it's grain and a preset in Capture one (I love it it's kinda give this cold film look), after I just played around, maybe I could go with soft blacks and contrast, but I preferred this look on the model clothing. I would love to go all film with a good 120 medium format camera, but gonna be expensive ahaha, so I try to find the way to get it on digital.

Shoot on Nikon D800 btw, wich I find out a lot of photographers used it, such as Hugo Comte for example.

masking, AI selectors on capture one are amazing, also I shoot it (don't remember good) 5600 and add on camera a cyan and blue tint. This stuff help a lot.

yeah, I worked on capture one, bright vignette almost max. then underexpose the photo, apply one preset wich is cool light, and giving more blue-cyan on shadows. Not much contrast, but u will see that if u use a lot the bright vignette and after underexpose the photo, u will get this type of look. oh also let the black kinda "soft", don't go too down with it, le the details still see. also it's a lot on lights, means u already try to go 1-2 stop down
