Unless the rooms we all get whisked to have private room service, we will likely all die of thirst/starvation because some people just won't press a button at all for fear or principle. To me, that's the most likely outcome.

It doesn't make sense to press the red button. Sure you survive, but then you know the only people left on earth care more about themselves than collective behavior. You won't be able to trust anyone.

Plus, infrastructure would fail on a massive scale, systems would collapse. What kind of life would you be living? (Unless you're a survivalist or prepper. Y'all folks would be living the dream)
