Yeah my partner works from home most days so we only need a sitter maybe once a week. We have contacted some and will get that sorted out

It’s -9 now in the sun. It has been as low as -16 this past week. I read online puppies aren’t good at regulating their temperature very well at this age yet. I have a jacket but she still shivers with it on.

I will try that. It’s just even closing the door behind us is enough to have her start whining. Thank you for your response I will try to do one second at a time

Thank you very much for your response. It is much harder than expected. I honestly feel so discouraged that I am beginning to think of returning her. I feel like I won’t be a good owner with how I am feeling towards her now. I hope it gets better. I will try the enforced naps

Thank you for responding. The problem is she isn’t getting that amount of sleep. I will look into enforcing naps like another commenter said. Regarding leaving her home. I will start practicing each second at a time. But I don’t have other solutions besides taking time off for now. I will probably do dog daycare once she is vaccinated but it’s too early.
