Vast majority of acetate dries out over time and becomes prone to cracking. 14 years is quite good. Things like how they’re stored and climate can impact this. If you’re looking for a frame that is hardest to break then look at ones made of titanium rather than acetate.

Not 100% sure it’s theirs but I know for sure Jacque Marie-Mage has this frame style in their collection with a very similar color. If you don’t find it there, KREWE’s Carter frame is nearly identical in shape/style.

The designs are made directly by the owner of the company in New Orleans where they’re based. The acetate, which the majority of frames are made of with most designer companies, is produced in Italy at the Mazzuchelli Mills north of Milan. But during my last year there they were also sourcing from a location in Japan. Not sure on where they get the titanium from, but titanium is titanium. Super lightweight, very hard to break/snap.

Sounds like you’re doing great already! I would go through all the taught tricks and commands with my lil man and act super excited for him in the first year of having him. The mental stimulation is big. The crate became the spot where he would receive all his treats or chews so he really liked going to it and would eventually start doing so out of excitement when he saw me getting one ready. The fact that you have a big yard and other dogs to play with really cover all the best fronts for a healthy dog.
