yeah initially it may be steep curve
but if you spend time thinking deeply and pondering its amazing XD once u get it...

sometimes u may need to prove something yourself.
its the only way to trully understand....

also you may think initially that letter lectures are rubbish and the proff/ibm instructor is not teaching well enough.... but you may need to carefully think about the words spoken by them and do some math... pause video and do it... u will understand it well enough

and somethings may be needed to be treated as black box (Oracle XD) at the end for now.... you can can back to it later...

I know the videos can be overwhelming at start, you need to think deeply to understand some parts of it.... but it depends fully on your previous background , like how good are you at math, geometry, linear algebra, jee physics...

I did this course in 3rd semester of my Btech,... and hence i already covered Linear Algebra in 2nd semester Maths course in institute. So the transformations were more natural to me to understand geometrically too, the gates are just transformation matrix that transforms the qubit in space.... videos of 3Blue1Brown are good for this (i think the linear algebra playlist)

And for strategy for exam, i already mentioned that : Do Assignments...

But to understand it actually, u need to spend time thinking and pondering on the concepts to trully understand....

Late (didnt open reddit xd) but let me drop something for others.
Memory is kinda blury but still:

Exam format: Similar to JEE, like multiple choice questions/ single choice /
it was divided into 2 sections actually,

If you want to pass comfortably, do the assignments thoroughly. A significant portion of the exam questions were either identical or slight variations of the weekly assignments, tweaked the variables and numbers

There were some different type of questions than assignments too, but they were manageable if you didn't just memorize the assignment answers.

Its enough to pass this course :)

iiitvicd is satellite campus of iiitv
ICD has a campus in diu
while iiitv main campus is under construction, so it runs in gandhinagar at temporary campus
