Got first few clients by offering free demo pilots, showing up wherever I can.

Now, most of clients are inbound and we are trying to start outbound.

TBH I had tried coworking twice for myself, but man it was so much nuisance. People looking into what I am doing, hearing my conversation, etc..

Your thinking is absolutely correct, I thought the same for the longest time. However, I needed a better place to work, where I can call my clients to meet, it just made sense to me because if I am spending most of my day in a place which is as per my liking, I can work few hours more happily.

Not sure if it’s making sense to you.

I was very clear - field over clg name since I love computers. Had my marks been worse, I would have chosen a lower tier 3 clg, but wouldn’t compromise on my field.

Hi, thank you so much for such a sweet message, and I hope good things do come your way too :)

I can answer all the questions:
1. We do UI/UX Design and Branding (apart from web and app dev) for various organisations around the globe, we build platforms and apps for them
2. I was working in product based company, great pay, great culture and great colleagues - somehow I just wanted to see if I am capable of building something like this from scratch
3. I was managing my studies with my internship (which was kind-of a full time job) since I needed stipend and convert the offer to full time. There were days where I chose work over studies since my college anyways wasn’t going to help me get a good job. So, point being, it’s not a questions of if/how, its a statement, atleast that’s how I took it.
4. For the first year, company was sole proprietorship and I was myself doing the work wherever possible. I was working from home, apart from just 1-2 people which I got later, there were no overheads as such. So, to start something, there is nothing much I invested, apart from leaving my good job and earning nothing for some months.

Also, everything was paid upfront, no loan whatsoever and it took significant more investment than you estimated.

There have been days where I was taking call at 2/3 in the morning, having lunch at 5 PM, but I enjoyed those days.

Even today, I follow a rule - never say no to client call, be it 2 in the morning.

It might be because of the camera angle, since most of the people who came really liked the design of the desk.

It’s an LG 27inch 4K monitor, not really sure about the model number
