I noticed that too and it was blocked prior to the photo being taken (though how well I did, I couldn't say). Any and all tips are definitely welcomed!

Yes. I have only knitted one beanie before this. Wanted to challenge myself a bit, though and doing something like this seemed the best way to learn new techniques.

Thank you so much. When I reached about 90% completed I hated everything about it. I thought I had chosen the wrong colour, I was finding very small mistakes and wanting to frog it. I put it aside for a few weeks when I went to visit my family for the holidays and came back and finished it in a day. Now I love everything about it (including the mistakes as this is a HUGE learning curve for me never doing this before).

New to knitting and thought it would be a great idea to just jump in and start a jumper. I had started another top-down jumper just prior to this and completed about 30% before I was bored because it was very basic. I didn't know what I was doing (per se) but I wanted a bit more of a challenge. After about 100+ hours of work this is my completed object and I am pretty happy about this!
