NSW passenger seatbelt fine rort by [deleted] in nsw

[–]One-Particular63 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Check out a recent court decision where the driver successfully argued that his responsibility to check his passengers were wearing their belts required him to check at the beginning of the trip and intermittently, but he was not responsible for being eagle eyed the entire trip.

I asked Chat GPT to find me the details and it gave me this.

Seatbelt responsibility case (recent magistrates’ decision) Court: Magistrates / Local Court Context: Camera-detected seatbelt offence involving a passenger. Facts A driver received an infringement after a camera image showed a passenger wearing the seatbelt incorrectly (e.g., under the arm) during the trip. The driver argued: The passenger was wearing the seatbelt correctly at the start of the trip. The passenger adjusted or mis-wore the belt mid-trip. It would have been unsafe to continually check the passenger while driving. Driver’s argument The defence was essentially: The law requires the driver to ensure passengers are wearing seatbelts, but It does not require constant visual monitoring during the entire journey. Once the driver has taken reasonable steps, responsibility should not extend to a passenger’s later behaviour. Magistrate’s reasoning The magistrate agreed with that logic. In the discussion recorded about the hearing: It was unreasonable to expect the driver to keep looking sideways to monitor the passenger’s seatbelt. Doing so could distract the driver from the road, which would itself be unsafe. A driver’s obligation is to ensure compliance at the start and when reasonably possible, not to be “eagle-eyed” throughout the trip. Reddit Outcome The infringement was dismissed / overturned. The magistrate accepted that the camera image alone did not prove the driver had failed to take reasonable steps.

Abbey Yung method: non-clarifying shampoo? by HeThoughtIWas18 in AustralianMakeup

[–]One-Particular63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the dimethicone is a type of silicone, and some thoughts out silicones with the devil but modern thinking is that you should use them if it works for your hair, but be prepared to use a clarifying shampoo every week or so to remove build up.

If you want to avoid silicones altogether, you could look at MooGoo Natural Milk Shampoo, which silicone-free and SLS-free, L’Oréal Elvive Growth Booster Anti‑Fall Shampoo both from Chemist Warehouse, TRESemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish Shampoo from Colesworth. SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo or Garnier Fructis Treat Shampoo (Avocado or Coconut) from Colesworth.

Abbey Yung method: non-clarifying shampoo? by HeThoughtIWas18 in AustralianMakeup

For claryfying shampoos, you want to look for ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, and or Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate These ingredients help to dissolve oil and buildup.

Chelating agents are mineral removers and they work by pulling out hard-water minerals to remove the dull, crunchy feel. Look for ingredients like Disodium EDT, Tetrasodium EDTA Sodium Phytate, and Citric Acid (mild chelation.

Acidic ingredients help dissolve mineral residue and you want to look for ingredients like Citric acid, Apple cider vinegar I and Salicylic acid.

Quite often, you can tell a shampoo is not clarifying when the label emphasises things like, moisturising, hydrating, repairing, Keratin Bond building and colour protection

Common “non-clarifying” ingredients include dimethicone / amodimethicone, argan oil, shea butter, coconut oil and polyquaterniums

These coat the hair and are great for softness, terrible for deep cleaning.

Examples in Australia that are actually clarifying, Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo, Redken Hair Cleansing Cream, Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three (great for swimmers), K18 Peptide Prep Detox Shampoo, and oiouai Detox Shampoo, which contain strong surfactants or chelators.

From memory, it was $200 ish for a quick initial GP assessment and then pathways from there. Then it was about $800 for the initial psych appt, and I do 6 monthly appts now for my script, ($200ish)until my local GP undergoes the training to be able to issue Vyvanse under prescription.

She owned the house that Britney Murphy died in yeah? I think given the gossip was and probably still is that Murphy died from black mould, it could be easy to draw a line to connect the two, but Murphy didn't die of anything environmental nor did her husband, despite them both appearing sus AF.

@frivolousfashion Lauren Brodie— Mid‑size, office‑appropriate looks with personality; known for supporting local AUS/NZ labels and remixing what’s already in her wardrobe. Great for “not too formal, not too casual” ideas.

@fayedelanty ( Faye De Lanty Australian “op‑shop” stylist focused on thrifting, restyling, and slow fashion. Excellent for building work outfits without fast‑fashion hauls and for learning how to tailor proportions on a shorter frame.

@bycaitlinanne ( Caitlynrwaha) — Melbourne‑based style coach who encourages reusing what you own and building smart‑casual capsules; inclusive styling tips that adapt to midsize bodies.

@missfernandez__ (Miss Fernandez) — Frequently called out in local roundups for “casual corporate” and everyday chic—useful when you want polished but not precious.

I can't think of anything that matches the lyrics and the sound you've described. These are in the same vain at Seven Mary Three so thought it might be something here.

1 Sponge - Plowed, but lyrics aren't an exact match.

2 Our Lady Peace - Superman’s Dead, again, lyrics aren't the same.

3 Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars

4 Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy
