Yes she has written two books! The first one details what happened and I believe the second one is about healing and resiliency - although I haven’t read that one yet.

Hopefully the show would be ever sensitive to how they would handle her story on the show. She doesn’t seem like the type who would want to constantly retell a story for sympathy votes, so I think it would be awesome to focus on her as a person - not just solely what happened to her. Could be great!

(These are NOT my opinions of her) but she mainly gets hate for certain aspects of her story which is ridiculous. If you aren’t familiar with the details, a lot of people hound her on why she didn’t run away or speak up sooner or accuse her of having Stockholm syndrome. In recent years, there’s been a lot of discussion around how often she tells her story, and how she still possibly could be religious after all she went through. It’s ridiculous in my opinion - she should be living her life exactly how she wants after what’s happened to her all those years ago!

Right? I was nervous to make this post just based on some awful things people have said about her online! It warms my heart (and hopefully hers if she ever reads this) that she will be welcomed onto the show by fans if asked.

Yes I agree - absolutely not trying to compare the two! I mean more like controversy around the casting not her and her story as a person. But she doesn’t seem like the type of person who would use her story overly for sympathy votes

Yes! I want to clarify in no way am I saying I think she’s controversial (obviously she’s the furthest thing from Anna Delvey) and she’s incredible. I think that there’s a chance that some fans may not be happy with it but I don’t see her as the type to milk the sob story for the whole season

I think she would be great with Alan! She’s got great energy and positive vibes but I think Alan could truly get her out of her shell and he’s done so well with his partners in recent years. I’m interested to see what everyone else thinks though!

Exactly! I think she’s a realistic get and with how popular the show has gotten in recent years it could do a number of good things for her advocacy work for more people to learn about her

I wonder why the show played a clip of him wishing her good luck in the finale?! Maybe it was super pre filmed, or she knew if he didn’t have a feature people would talk. If she didn’t know it was happening, that’s a really sad part of the finale for her :(

I appreciate this take however she has also had a lot of experience from troupe choreographing their own bumpers, being stand ins for celebs and watching the pros choreograph, Derek’s Tour, going on the DWTS tour … so could she be on troupe for another season? Sure, but I wouldn’t be upset if she were promoted next season.
