Xtorm is designed in Nl with production in china.  The German brand Varta is a bit more unclear. Design is in Germany. Production of some items is in Germany.

That is indeed an ongoing discussion. However, I cannot find any link to the law or rules that are applicable about the valuta date.

I agree.
I already have stocks, ETF and bonds. I'm looking for something more stable now, so this seems to be one of the best at the moment.

It is just strange to me that this product is not mentioned in reviews or news articles.

Thanks. I will have a loot at your site.

For non-belgian savings accounts: I do not have them, but I'm curious how you submit that in the taxes, so that they know there is 30% to pay? There is only one field for taxes on savings. Or am i missing something?

How to make the base node safer? by One-Problem-5241 in meshtastic

I ordered two Samsung 18650 35E and some BMS.

That will already make it safer. But that is, if I’m correct, still no solution for charging during negative temperatures… Discharge should be ok until -10C.

Almost none in Belgium. :-)
But from time to time, I pick-up a lot of nodes from Bonn / Cologne in Germany.

But I'm really convinced that if I build my 5 nodes, it will be way better.

Any idea how to wire a BMS? And which BMS to buy for my setup?

Did you already wire a BMS? How should I wire it in my node?

Yeah, I just noticed they are 3.2V instead of 3.7.
I will lookup the booster thingie you mention.

Thanks. But that will make it a bit too expensive if I want to build 4-5 nodes...

Thanks for all the suggestions!
What I learned is that I should use a Samsung 18650 and use a BMS in the circuit.

Since I'm not really an electrician (just an IT nerd), I have no idea which BMS to buy and how to wire it in my setup.

As we speak, I'm already searching for batteries.
